It was a beautiful service and Wendy and Fer did a great job -- they made it through the baptism and then we went out and spent some time coloring and hanging out in the church parlor for the rest. Afterwards, there was a reception with delicious food! Of course, the girls were holding out for the "papas and pollo" (chicken fingers and fries) that we had saved from our snack the night before! We were able to heat those up for them before we headed home so they could have lunch in the car.Gigi and Grandad with the proud family:
One more try at the grandchildren picture. The girls had already changed into their "ropa comoda" in preparation for the trip home! Oh well.
And, we got one pic of the 14 -- the family has certainly grown in the past year and a half!! We used to be 9!
Wendy thought it would be fun to wear Padrino's jacket for a little while:
It was too short, but wonderful to see everyone! We hope for more visits in the spring when we return from Bogota -- 6 days til we leave!!
