Today is short -- good news to share. We had our second Integration meeting today and we received our certificate! We met with one of the two women who interviewed us last week, a very nice social worker. She seemed nicer this time :), maybe because she spent a riotous half-hour playing with the girls, who were in fine form. We could hear all the laughing and joking through the office door for the 30 minutes they spent with her! And apparently they gave us a good report, and she liked what we had to say, so she approved the certificate - yay!
Now that we have the certificate that completes our application, our lawyer will submit our papers tomorrow and we will find out which court has been assigned our case. We are of course hoping for a speedy to normal court, and we will post again here when we know.
