Chris arrived early this morning and I was so happy to see him! It is wonderful to be a team of two again. Fer and Wendy were shy with him at first -- in fact, pretty much refused to say hello -- but they warmed up quickly thereafter and we had a really good day.
We followed our new routine -- morning English lessons, lunch and playtime, afternoon sports classes at Fitness Infantil. We took the girls to Frisby (a local chicken place) for lunch. They both ate a really good lunch and then played for about 45 minutes on the play equipment in the corner of the restaurant. Today they did swimming and skating at Fitness Infantil and we went a little early to pick them up so Chris could see how well they are skating now. When we got back we had dinner -- I had been asking for some plainer food because they are really not up to some of the culinary complications we have been served and I guess in response, they served us pasta AND rice with meat sauce. And that was it! No soup, salad or vegetable. Oh well, the girls ate a full plate each which was great to see.
Fer and I did some reading in English today -- I got some resources that focus on word families which I think may be a good way for her to learn some of the differences in pronunication. She was very motivated and up for it, so hopefully that may transfer to some more math work tomorrow.
After reading and Kitty, the girls were asleep by 8:30. And at about 9 our lawyer called, and he told us that he thinks we may even get sentencia on Monday or Tuesday! That would be amazing if so -- but we are trying not to hope too much because you never know.
