Another miracle

As we gave thanks for many blessings at Thanksgiving, one of the biggest blessings of the fall has been that the girls' siblings, Hugo and Maria, moved to Minnesota to a new family. We will forever be grateful to Julei for bringing them to the States and for her time with them in California. And, it is hard to put into words our gratitude to Nic and Megan, who have joyfully welcomed Hugo and Maria to their family. Megan blogs at http://colombianbrewed.blogspot.com/, and in an amazing example of synchronicity, she and I "knew" each other through our blogs about Colombian adoption well before Hugo and Maria came to them. The whole process truly has been another miracle. We have had the chance to be in touch by phone and have sent and received cards and photos, and we look forward to meeting in person in the future!
