The Gosas visited NYC for a tourist weekend and we had the chance to join them for an afternoon of art. We had a lovely time walking around the MOMA, seeing some amazing famous paintings -- Picasso, Monet. One interesting/funny thing that happened was that Terrill was chatting with Wendy in his usual warm and kind way and a security guard waved him over to invite him to take a picture "with your daughter" in front of "Starry Night," which is ordinarily not allowed. Lots of cultural undercurrents there, and we didn't stop to correct or explain how our family grouping was constituted as it would have taken awhile!
After a brief stop at their hotel, we ran in the rain to the closest place to eat that we could find, a diner on 57th street. I only got two pictures, of the girls laughing with their cousin Jasmine at dinner.
And then a quick shot of how we ended our field trip into the big city!
