Visit to Virginia

We had a great trip to Virginia to see the Gosas -- our first time in their new home, which was lovely. Chris and I were so comfortable in our lower floor guest suite, while the girls had a wonderful time doing a cousin sleepover in Jasmine's room. We were able to get into D.C. for a day to see some sights -- it brought back fond memories for me of many KIPP 5th grade trips, though I will admit it is much easier traveling around with 2 children rather than 60! We also got to help celebrate Aunt Kathy's birthday which was a fun bonus -- happy birthday and we look forward to seeing you all again at Thanksgiving!

Fer's Birthday!

We celebrated Fer's 13th birthday with a family barbecue. Happy Birthday sweetheart! We are so proud of how much you have grown and of the wonderful young woman you are becoming.

And the kids ended the evening with a show after dinner. The girls' dance costumes certainly have seen a lot of use since the recital, worth every penny.
